Multichoice Apostille offers Apostille service for U.S. Passports that need to be certified for use abroad. We generally ask for your original passport to authenticate it. Another option is for you to have a licensed Notary public certify a color copy of your passport, if you don’t want or unable to mail us the original. Please check with the country of your destination if a certified copy is sufficient before you send your passport or its copy to us. 

A Notary Public certifying a copy of your passport must be licensed in the state of your residence and have experience in notarizing documents for use in foreign countries. Proper notary forms and an affidavit should be used to avoid any delays with further legalizing of your passport. 

You can also mail your passport to our office and we will take care of notarizing it in accordance with the rules of the state issuing authentication.
